Nebraska Walk For Epilepsy

Today I want to tell you a story about Sirena (far right of picture). Sirena has been through so much in her short life and until her diagnosis of epilepsy in 2005, time was spent in various doctor's offices fearful for what may happen next.
Her symptoms became severe and the seizures more frequent with no answers as to what was causing them. Your help is needed to ensure that other families like Sirena's receive answers to their questions, concerns, and the support they so desperately seek.
We are also onsite at Shadow Lake Towne Center on Friday evening for their free outdoor concert event. If you want to come on out and enjoy the music, bring your lawn chairs and you can even pick up your walk t-shirts that night to wear the day of the walk.DJ Romeo will be providing music to dance and entertain; Clowns, Mascots, Stilt Walkers, you name it and it will probably be on site during the walk. We even have a splash park this year. Shadow Lake Towne Center has taken a section of the fountain area and made it into a kid friendly splash area so bring your towels to the walk. The splashing wet fun starts at 10:30am!
You can show support for those living with epilepsy by passing on information about the walk, attach the link to your face book page or send it out via email to friends and family. Tweet about it, shout about it, yell about it but for sure talk about it!
